- Running stock timing now.
- Way better throttle response.
- Way better off boost performance.
- Eliminated the flat spot most pronounced in the 5 to 6K RPM range.
- J&S no longer occasionally taking out a degree or two in the 3 to 4.5K range.

I agree with RJAFFEY! This unit should be mandatory for every JRSC sold! My car is a lot better of the line, low end, the mid range flat spot is gone and I even notice a little better higher end too. I'm getting ready to race my buds "97" yellow NSX. I know I'll give him a very good race. I drove his car the other day and I can honestly say I wasn't extremely impressed with the performance. I did bring the first two gears to redline, but road limitations kept me from going fast. Bottom end sucks, you really gotta keep the revs up. I told him to get a Comptech supercharger. That will really wake it up! I'll let you know how it goes.

For those who have the JR BTC installed, can you give me some feedback on how the unit performs? Any noticable power increase? Increase in responsiveness etc. Thanks.

Yeah, I want to know what stock timing should I set it at...my stock was advanced 2 degrees to 18 BTDC before JRSC. Should I go back to 18 or should it be set at 16 BTDC?

Yup..that's what he told me. I've heard that it is best to place the unit inside, preferably under the passenger kick panel.
However, JR told me that it can be mounted anywhere in the engine's compartment. I heard that the installation is very straight forward. But where do you guys tap the wires into? at the ECU???
